Your new role
As the Head of Aged Careyou will play a key leadership role in delivering high-quality integrated and person-centred services across our two aged care services - Sacred Heart Local (home care) & Sacred Heart Community (residential).
Reporting to the Director of Services you will oversee these programs drive continuous improvement embed trauma-informed and culturally safe practices and contribute to strategic growth initiatives.

Your day-to-day
- Providing strategic and operational leadership across SHMs aged care services.
- Overseeing and mentoring Program Managers ensuring excellence in service delivery.
- Developing and embedding best practice frameworks in line with Aged Care Quality Standards and the Aged Care Act.
- Contributing to service improvement initiatives to enhance quality impact and client outcomes.
- Partnering with external organisations government agencies and community groups to address service gaps and drive systemic change.
- Embedding lived experience and trauma informed care into service design and decision-making.
- Ensuring services are financially sustainable compliant and aligned to clinical governance expectations.
Were looking for someone with
- A tertiary qualification in Aged Care Social Work Public Health or a related field.
- Extensive senior leadership experience in the aged care sector.
- Proven ability to oversee complex service delivery with a strong understanding of trauma-informed and culturally safe practices.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and developing a high-performance culture.
- Strong knowledge of clinical governance aged care legislation and aged care quality systems.
