Job Description

Shodair is looking to add a Medical Record Specialist II to our Health Information Management team. The Medical Record Specialist II processes requests for Protected Health Care Information. This position is an onsite position located in Helena Montana.


The ideal candidate is someone who:

  • Has worked within an office environment and been responsible for the management of confidential information.
  • Able to process external and internal written verbal faxed and emailed requests for release of information.
  • Maintains working knowledge of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act HIPAA and facility confidentiality policies and procedures.
  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Starting at $16.88 per hour.

Requirements

EDUCATION TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE;

High school graduate GED or equivalent.

Minimum of two years of office experience required. Prior medical office or medical record experience strongly preferred.

Experience with document scanning and copying equipment strongly preferred.
