Job Description
Overview
As our Medical Technologist at CHI St Vincent you will help solve mysteries as to whats ailing a patient and get us one step closer to successfully treating that illness or injury. You will perform a variety of technical analyses verify results and assure quality and accuracy of tests under the direction of the Laboratory Supervisor(s) Laboratory Manager(s) Laboratory Administrative Director and Laboratory Medical Director (Pathologist). Youll build trust in all your interactions through your professionalism and work ethic.
CHI St Vincent Hot Springs is a 280 bed faith-based non-profit Magnet Accredited facility providing quality health care to patients and communities from all over the State of Arkansas. As the only level II trauma center in the southwest part of the state CHI St Vincent Hot Springs is the regional referral center for cardiology trauma neuro ortho oncology and critical care/pulmonary. We have also been voted as one of Arkansas Best Places to Work by Arkansas Business since 2019. Responsibilities
We depend on the knowledge and skills of our MTs when it comes to evaluating medical lab tests to determine whats happening with our vital tothe diagnosis treatment and prevention of diseases. Love working in a lab and analyzing results Connect with us today!
Expectations:
- Conduct chemical analysis of body fluids including blood urine or spinal to determine presence of normal or abnormal components
- Collect biological specimens from patients
- Operate calibrate and maintain equipment used in quantitative or qualitative analysis
- Enter data from analysis of medical tests or clinical results into computer for storage

Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Medical Technology
- Certification by the ASCP Board of Registry/Board of Certification
