To enhance the correctional programs of the Commonwealth of Virginia by operating a viable business entity that provides jobs and work skills for sentenced offenders to help them successfully re-enter society and offers quality goods and services to our customers on time and at a fair price.

Provides the supervision and training of inmates in the production of Digital printing quality standards shipping and receiving inventory and warehousing. Manages the printing prepress steps between order and printing to ensure accuracy of customer printed work. Achieves through inmate workers VCEs goals of producing and shipping quality products accurate and complete orders delivered on time and develops the inmate workers hard and soft skills.

Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge of digital printing manufacturing. Prepress knowledge and work experience. Demonstrated skill in effective planning and organizing record-keeping problem-solving quality management; and developing directing correcting and motivating others. Ability to adapt to change work independently resolve problems and perform effectively in complex work situations and under the pressure of tight deadlines clearly communicate orally and in in Microsoft Officeand Adobeproducts. High School Diploma or GED.

Additional Considerations

Experience with MRP/ERP systems. Demonstrated proficiency in continuous improvement practices and concepts. Experience in quality programs and production floor quality improvement initiatives experience in and prior lead or supervisory experience
