Company:
The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for Supplier Program Management Manager (Level L) to join our Engine Management Delivery Center Leader team in Seattle WA.
This role requires partnership with Leaders across the enterprise and an active member of the BCA (Boeing Commercial Airplane) Supply Chain team.
This position will discover new opportunities and solutions for business problems by looking beyond current practices and using innovative thinking. This role requires blending strategic thinking with on-the-ground execution enabling the organizations to improve systems business policies processes and efficiencies to operate as One Boeing Supply Chain.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manages employees and first level managers performing activities related to supplier program management throughout all contract phases.
- Develops and executes integrated departmental plans policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies goals and objectives.
- Acquires resources for department activities provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes.
- Manages develops and motivates employees and first-level managers.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
- 5 years of experience in managing and leading teams as well as influencing within matrixed organizations
- 5 years of experience in supporting Operations Materials Management and/or Supply Chain functions in a production environment
- 3 years of experience leading or managing projects teams vendors in a factory/manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):
- Bachelors Degree or Advanced Degree
- 5 years of experience demonstrating exceptional business analytical and problem-solving skills
- 5 years of experience leading or managing process improvement projects
