For more information on the SOARING Program visit: SOARING program prepares CNAs to practice in an advanced direct patient care role through an 6-week instructor led internship. The program is based on the core values of success ownership accountability responsibility respect independence integration and growth. Graduates of the SOARING program provide highly skilled and compassionate patient- and family-centered care as a contributing member of the health care team. Become a Clinical Technician at The Johns Hopkins Hospital!

Clinical Technicians atThe Johns Hopkins Hospitalhave the opportunity to provide highly skilled and compassionate patient- and family-centered care as a contributing member of the health care team. Ongoing education is provided to all Clinical Technicians to ensure that all techs perform at the highest level of their certification and scope of practice. During your first year you will have the opportunity to attend eight days of training off the unit which provide interactive learning activities to support your personal and professional development.

  1. Anne Arundel Community College: Advanced Patient Care Technician
  2. Baltimore City Community College: Patient Care Technician
  3. Community College of Baltimore County: Patient Care Technician
  4. Howard Community College: Advanced Patient Care Skills
  5. Frederick Community College
  6. Prince Georges Community College

Certification Licensure etc:Certified Nursing Assistant licenseactive on the MBON. ActiveCPR certification provided by American Heart Association American Red Cross or Military Training Network.

Salary Range: Minimum17.00per hour - Maximum17.00per will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
