Responsibilities:

  • Develop training materials on basic listening and helping skills tailored for lay leaders in a local church.
  • Conduct at least one training seminar or presentation on an integration topic related to mental health and Christian faith.
  • Create user-friendly educational materials on mental health topics from a faith-integrated perspective for use in the church setting.
  • Assist in collecting feedback and evaluating the effectiveness of training sessions.

Requirements:

  • Strong interest in Christian counseling lay ministry or mental health integration.
  • Experience or coursework in psychological science counseling and theology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfort with public speaking and leading small group trainings.
  • Commitment to Regents core values of Excellence Innovation and Integrity
