Pay Range: $33.58 -50.36/ hour

Sign on Bonus:$10000

Additional components of compensation may include:

  • Eveningnight and weekend shift differential
  • Overtime
  • On-call pay

Per Diem Staff will not be eligible to participate in any associate benefit plans sponsored by the Health System.

POSITION SUMMARY:

  • Provides radiologic imaging computed tomography imaging and patient care services at defined levels to patients.
  • Positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
  • Utilizes ALARA principles during examinations.
  • Implements radiation protection and safety standards.
  • Prepares for and assists the physician in procedures including interventional procedures. Performs reconstruction of CT images.
  • Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within the scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.

EDUCATION/TRAINING:

Minimum:

  • Completion of accredited Radiologic Technologist program.

Preferred:

  • Experience as a hospital radiographer and CT technologist

**Must provide copy of diploma/degree for highest level of education obtained**

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

Minimum:

  • Certification by ARRT in Radiology or current NMTCB certification.
  • Current license from IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency).
  • CT certification within 24 months of hire.
  • CPR certification required within three (3) months of hire.

Preferred:

  • ARRT certification in CT.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Minimum: Previous healthcare experience

Preferred: Two years of clinical experience
