This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified radiographer to join a state-of-the art imaging facility and take part in cutting edge imaging research. The post will primarily be based in the Queens Medical Research Institute but with the possibility of rotation within our other facility based in the Royal Infirmary.
The post holder willperform radiographic examinations providing direct care and a high quality diagnostic service in order to assist in the management of patients within Edinburgh Imaging Facility QMRI and the MRI imaging facility in Edinburgh Royal Infirmary. This will involve participating in the provision of on-going programmes of clinical examinations research studies and clinical trials involving MRI CT and PET/CT scanning.
This post is fixed-term (for 18 months) and full-time (35 hours per week).
The salary for this post is Grade UE07N: 41064 to 51753 per annum.
A market pay supplement equivalent to 7% of salary shall be payable in addition to substantive salary. Additionally the normal incremental pay range for this post will be points 1-9 of the published is a requirement for the postholder to be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
An Honorary NHS contract will besought for the successful post holder. You therefore must be eligible to hold an honorary contract with NHS Lothian.
