Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Digital Print Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience in digital printing and is both self-motivated and detail-oriented. The Digital Print Operator is responsible for job setup and printing using our cut-sheet digital printers. They are also in charge of calibrating printers and color-matching projects against our clients Pantone colors / previous jobs and managing the service and maintenance of the printers as needed.
Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Digital Print Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience in digital printing and is both self-motivated and detail-oriented. The Digital Print Operator is responsible for job setup and printing using our cut-sheet digital printers. They are also in charge of calibrating printers and color-matching projects against our clients Pantone colors / previous jobs and managing the service and maintenance of the printers as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for operating digital commercial printers using Fiery Workstation
- Responsible for imposing files for print & running USPS mail software
- Works with other departments to prioritize and manage daily job production
- Produces orders accurately efficiently and quickly while maintaining the highest quality standards
- Updates job status and location in MIS system
- Always runs a proof copy and compares it to the job ticket
- Controls waste and re-dos by quality-checking jobs as they are being produced
- Completes Quality Assurance documents for all printed jobs
- Tracks waste spoilage usage and inventory for all digital printing machines
- Maintains all Digital Printing Equipment logs
- Maintains a clean and organized work environment
- Performs all required maintenance and learns extended maintenance from the technician
- Calibrates and manages all color devices as required to maintain color consistency
- Monitors color consistency during all print runs and make adjustments as necessary
- Assists in bindery finishing and/or large format departments as needed
Qualifications:
- Digital printing experience is required
- Ability to multi-task and organize several activities and tasks concurrently
- Ability to maximize profit through the efficient use of time and equipment
- Can perform basic bindery functions
- Familiarity and experience with Fiery Workstation a plus
- Graphic design skills a plus

Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
