JOB TITLE: Boiler Operator
LOCATION: Palmdale CA
PAY RATE: Up to $50/hour
We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary:
-
Operating and maintaining high-pressure manually controlled and fully automatic steam boilers.
-
Servicing boilers regulating temperatures monitoring fuel feeds maintaining proper combustion and managing all supporting systems such as pumps injectors emission control devices and related accessories.
-
Operate chillers air compressors and other essential equipment within the central utility plant.

Operate and maintain high-pressure steam boilers (manual and automatic)
-
Adjust temperatures draft fans and natural gas/fuel feeds to ensure optimal boiler performance
-
Perform regular maintenance on automatic equipment emission controls and pumps
-
Maintain proper water levels and fuel/water treatment
-
Monitor and interpret pressure combustion and system gauges
-
Conduct functional checks during operations and post-repair activities
-
Operate and maintain chillers air compressors and other utility plant systems
-
Open availability is required to support 24/7 operations
-
Potential for direct hire after 90 days based on performance and business needs
Requirements:
-
High School Diploma or GED
-
Prior experience operating high-pressure boilers
-
Prior experience operating chillers and related equipment
-
Experience in a central utility plant or similar environment preferred
-
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
