SME knowledge of Lennon/ORCATS/DWH
Technical Skills:
1. Architectural Design:
Strong understanding of architectural principles and design patterns (e.g. microservices monolithic event-driven architecture).
Ability to design scalable secure and high-performance architecture for software applications.
2. Proficiency in Programming Languages:
Familiarity with various programming languages relevant to the technology stack such as Java C# Python JavaScript or PHP.
3. Cloud Computing:
In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud Platform) and their services (compute storage networking etc.).
Understanding of cloud architecture patterns including serverless and containerization (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).
4. Databases and Data Management:
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases including performance optimization data modelling and data integration techniques.
5. Integration Technologies:
Skills in integration patterns and technologies (e.g. API management messaging queues ESBEnterprise Service Bus) to facilitate inter-service communication.
6. DevOps Practices:
Knowledge of DevOps principles and practices for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) automation and infrastructure as code (IaC).
7. Security Best Practices:
Understanding of security practices related to data protection identity and access management (IAM) encryption and compliance standards (e.g. GDPR HIPAA).
8. Software Development Methodologies:
Familiarity with software development methodologies like Agile Scrum Waterfall etc. to ensure alignment between development and architectural strategies.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
1. Requirements Analysis:
Ability to gather analyse and translate business requirements into technical solutions while identifying potential trade-offs.
2. Technical Risk Assessment:
Skills in identifying technical risks and proposing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
3. Troubleshooting and Debugging:
Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues within complex systems.
Soft Skills:
1. Communication:
You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and facilitate discussions across teams.
2. Collaboration:
You have ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including developers project managers business analysts and other stakeholders.
3. Leadership and Mentoring:
You have strong leadership skills to guide development teams provide mentorship and facilitate collaboration in achieving architectural goals.
4. Business Acumen:
You have understanding of the business domain and how technology solutions impact business processes and objectives.
