About the role:
Your key role is to create develop maintain and promote policies and procedures that create a healthy and safe workplace for our client JLL employees and sub-contractors. You will be responsible for the management of JLLs Risk QMS and Health and Safety for the account whilst ensuring business lines compliance with statutory regulations and standards.
Responsibilities:
Lead health safety and environment management for our region working with the clients stakeholders and JLL stakeholders
Create and implement safety plans deliver safety training to employees and contractors ensuring they follow the safety rules and comply with Australian regulations
Conduct safety audits track site compliance manage ricks assessment and maintain safety registers
Prepare safety reports and performance dashboards
Provide guidance for maintenance repairs and office moves
Build a positive safety culture through initiatives and awareness
Manage incident reporting investigations and lessons learned while ensuring all sites have proper emergency response plans
Represent safety interests in management meetings
Key Skills:
Relevant WHS and risk qualifications
Thorough understanding of the Australian WHS requirements
Ability to translate HSSE initiatives into practical straightforward operational plans
Experience championing HSSE standards addressing challenged and implementing positive improvements
Proven leadership qualities with success working in matrix organisations
Ability to engage and inspire internal and external stakeholders toward enhances HSSE outcomes
Excellent communication training and organisational abilities
Skilled at collaborating within diverse multicultural teams across various working environments
