The Transactions Manager will work closely with various department members to ensure smooth and efficient property transactions. This individual will also provide general oversight and management of the transactions process and progress. A successful Transactions Manager will take lead during the property transition phase of the process communicate effectively with all involved parties and understand that this role is critical to the reputation of Tailwind Group.


This is a full-time position working a standard schedule Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 4:30pm. This position requires up to 25% travel dependent on business needs.


The compensation range for this position is $70000 - $95000 plus bonus potential. This range is determined by current market data based on the position requirements and complexities. Final offers of employment will be based on multiple factors including candidate education skills experience and location.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Act as a central point of coordination from transaction initiation through closing ensuring all stakeholders remain informed and aligned on real estate transactions.

Acquisitions/Purchases:

  • Serve as the primary liaison with sellers coordinating with the Legal Team and facilitating communication across internal teams.
  • Collect and relay diligence requests from the Operations Transition Team to the seller ensuring timely responses and keeping all diligence trackers updated.
  • Travel on-site to support diligence trips as needed.
  • Facilitate weekly leasing update calls with the seller and members of the Operations Transition Team ensuring consistent updates and alignment between seller and internal teams.
  • Facilitate the Operations Transition Teams efforts by assigning all responsibilities to members of the team maintaining the checklist fostering communication and holding accountability.
  • Travel to provide short term onsite support with operations and leasing as needed during the initial one-week period following closing.

Dispositions/Sales:

  • Act as the primary liaison with buyers coordinating with the Legal Team and ensuring smooth information flow.
  • Receive and distribute buyer diligence requests to Operations Transition Team.
  • Facilitate the Operations Transition Teams efforts by assigning all responsibilities to members of the team maintaining the checklist fostering communication and holding accountability.
  • Facilitate weekly leasing update calls with the buyer and members of the Operations Transition Team ensuring consistent updates and alignment between buyer and internal teams.
  • Ensure clear communication across all levels of the organization to maintain alignment and transparency.
  • Help to identify and escalate potential issues and opportunities such as transactional changes or industry developments to the appropriate decision-makers.
Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Four or more years of experience working in real estate transactions with a focus on operations and project management.

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a growing fast-paced environment managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Possess strong administrative organization and project management skills.
  • Demonstrate a high level of integrity and professionalism.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently and make project-level decisions with minimal outside input.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build working relationships with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Extensive experience working with a project management software is required Asana is preferred.
  • Experience with a property management software is required Entrata strongly preferred.
  • Position requires up to 25% travel as dictated by needs of the business.
