Position Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Application Development Manager the Salesforce Administrator is responsible for the ongoing configuration development maintenance and improvement of the Salesforce CRM platform. This role ensures the platform supports agency goals through efficient business process automation user experience optimization and reliable data integrity. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem with experience in application development integration and stakeholder engagement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Administration
- Manage user access permissions roles profiles and security settings.
- Establish and manage changes to Salesforce metadata and code under a Git platform and follow agencys change management process.
- Perform routine platform maintenance health checks and release management.
- Create and manage custom objects fields page layouts record types workflows and validation rules.
- Monitor data quality and execute data import/export tasks using tools like Data Loader.
Development
- Design and develop custom solutions using Apex Visualforce Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Flows.
- Create and maintain integrations with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs or middleware tools.
- Build and optimize reports and dashboards to meet business needs.
Support & Collaboration
- Serve as the point of contact for end-user support training and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Work with external partners to implement enhancements and strategic initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Salesforce Administrator Certification required.
- At least one Salesforce Developer Certification (Platform Developer I or higher) preferred.
Experience
- 35 years of hands-on Salesforce administration and development experience.
- Experience with Apex Lightning Web Components SOQL/SOSL and integration patterns.

- Translating technical processes into clear documentation and SOPs.
