Job Description
Join our Quality Team! MORryde is currently seeking a Chassis Quality Inspector to join our 1st Shift Team!
In this position you will be responsible for full inspection of various chassis. Other responsibilities may include review of root cause analysis and you will also be responsible for communicating and interacting with production employees and department supervisors.
Being self-motivated is essential in this position as you will have goals to achieve daily and you are the driving factor to accomplish the tasks; this role is largely self-managed. Solid blueprint reading and tape measure skills along with strong communication skills are a must. The ideal candidate must be able to actively listen to various team members and effectively communicate information to ensure quality standards are being met. Complex problem solving and critical thinking skills are also important requirements while being passionate about getting the job done correctly.
- Basic use of measurement equipment
- Ability to interpret and read prints
- Ability to write work instructions and process documentation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Complex problem solving/critical thinking skills
- Customer focused attitude with the ability to work with a sense of urgency
- Basic skills in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook)
- Ability to work with a diverse staff
