Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Employee Benefits Account Manager to join our team. As a pivotal member of our team you will be responsible for managing all aspects of clients employee benefits programs ensuring excellent service delivery and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for client inquiries concerns and escalations related to their employee benefits programs
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs strategize on benefit offerings and provide recommendations for improvement
- Oversee the implementation and administration of employee benefits programs including health dental vision disability and retirement plans
- Conduct regular reviews and analysis of client programs to identify opportunities for enhancement and cost containment
- Support clients in compliance matters staying abreast of regulatory changes and ensuring adherence to legal requirements
- Lead client meetings and presentations nurturing strong relationships and driving retention
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales underwriting and customer service to ensure seamless delivery of services
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior account management staff fostering their professional development
Qualifications/Requirements
- Previous experience with various funding arrangements including fully insured level funded and self funded
- Proven experience in employee benefits account management with a focus on client relationship management and program administration
- 4 years of relevant insurance industry experience preferred
- Strong understanding of employee benefits products compliance regulations and industry trends
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively engage and influence clients
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead by example
