Position Type: Temp to Hire
Min. Pay: $22.47/hour
Shift: 2nd Shift
Job Description: Preferred Personnel Solutions in partnership with ABW Logistics is seeking to hire Forklift Operators (sit down exp. preferred) for a food distribution warehouse located in Clayton!
Qualifications for Forklift Operators:
After meeting all of PPS standard qualifications Candidate must meet below qualifications:
Ability to multi-task and follow instructions as assigned by supervisor.
Attention to detail and accuracy of documentation.
Able to understand both written and oral instructions.
Use of WMS (Warehouse Management System) computer software and the RF interface.
Excellent vision depth perception and motor skills are required.
Ability to stand for long periods of time up to 12 hours.
Physical ability to bend reach and lift for long periods of time up to 12 hours.
Able to distinguish warehouse pests and document any sightings.
Ability to operate the designated material handling equipment safely and effectively.
Ability to achieve and maintain the required production standard for the assigned function.
Willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.
Basic English is required.
Assignment Duties for Forklift Operators:
Case picking.
Loading and unloading trucks.
Bulk picking.
Performs other duties as assignment be management.
Shift Details: 2nd Shift Available!
Min. Pay Rate: $22.47/hour
