Job Description
Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US LLC is looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Lead in Suwanee GA.
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position combines hands-on testing expertise with strong organizational skills. You will work cross-functionally with development business analysts product managers and DevOps teams to ensure that our products meet the highest levels of functionality performance and security. You will be responsible for developing test plans managing test execution efforts coaching QA team members introducing new tools and frameworks and driving continuous improvement across the QA function.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The essential functions of the position include but are not limited to the following:
- Lead mentor and manage a team of QA engineers setting clear objectives and ensuring effective collaboration.
- Design implement and maintain comprehensive test plans test cases and test scripts for software applications covering both manual and automated testing methodologies.
- Develop evaluate and execute test strategies to ensure the delivery of robust scalable and high-quality software.
- Oversee all QA-driven phases of the testing lifecycle including functional regression system and user acceptance testing (in partnership with business stakeholders).
- Coordinate closely with development product management and DevOps teams to identify requirements resolve defects and support releases.
- Track quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.
- Review and approve QA documentation reports and release notes.
- Advocate for best practices in QA processes and tools driving continuous improvement and innovation.
- Participate in code reviews specifically for automated test scripts to ensure quality maintainability and adherence to best practices. Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Willing to travel up to 25 % for various Company meetings and training.
- Perform other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in software QA.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and processes including requirements analysis test planning test case design defect management and risk-based testing.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA and TestRail.
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (e.g. Cypress Playwright Selenium).
- Proficiency in writing automated test scripts using JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development teams.
- Excellent problem-solving analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task prioritize and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based environments is a plus.
- Experience with SAP Salesforce and ThoughtSpot is a plus.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and project management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and motivate stakeholders at all levels.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience in change management and training delivery.
- Demonstrated experience supporting a remote multi-business workforce with front-line workers.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $85600 and $117700 per year however base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location job-related knowledge skills and experience.
The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements including target bonus plans and discretionary awards. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical dental vision and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employees eligible dependents. Employees will also receive 80 hours of vacation per year 56 hours of paid sick leave annually and 13 paid holidays throughout the calendar year depending on hire date. Employees may also take up to 12 weeks of paid or unpaid parental/disability/emergency/etc. leave if eligible.
