Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Fraud Prevention Associate is responsible for assisting in support of all direct-to-consumer order platforms. This entry level position is tasked with reviewing high risk orders and utilizing fraud mitigation tools to determine the potential fraudulent risk of each order.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Prevents credit fraud account takeovers triangulation and re-shipping schemes.
Reviews decision and potential customer contact.
Ensures a legendary customer experience as inaccurate decisions have risk in eroding customer confidence.
Interacts with all Fraud Team specialist and supervisors Investigators the Central Monitoring Center.
Adheres to the training guidelines and development plan assigned to them.
ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Preferred Degree: Associate Degree or equivalent experience
Years of experience:Zero to two
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITY:
Ability to function as a team player and communicate with all levels of employees - end-users co-workers IT personnel and various business contacts in a courteous and professional manner that results in strong working relationships
Ability to organize and follow-up on multiple projects of varying priorities
Knowledge of Office Productivity software (Microsoft Word Excel Access Visio) and knowledge of general office practices and procedures
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to adapt in fast paced environments
Strong interpersonal skills to create and foster a strong team environment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Regular computer work and sitting.
Occasional walking and standing.
INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:
Performs tasks and duties under general supervision using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures policies and practices.
