What you will do
PGIM Multi-Asset Solutions is looking for a process improvement oriented and results driven Director Planning & Analysis with strong leadership and communication skills to lead the cost management processes. Our Cost Optimization & Performance Measurement (COPM) team is responsible for planning forecasting financial reporting and strategic initiative support for the businesss expenses. This role reports to the Chief Financial Officer of PGIM Multi-Asset Solutions.
This position is responsible for the analysis of results and development of forecasts for expenses as well as all associated management & external reporting. Responsibilities include executive presentations leading analysis of quarterly results development of forecasts direct business partner support and coordination across the enterprise-wide COPM organization to understand financial drivers and drive outcomes. This role will also support the business in modeling the financial impacts of various strategic & growth initiatives inclusive of both expense and earnings elements. Additionally this role will help drive and participate in continuous improvements related to the overall enterprise expense transformation efforts.
You will be empowered to contribute in a meaningful way add new value to organization initiatives and effect change. The PGIM Multi-Asset Solutions Finance team is a small unit in a growing business. The team works closely with the business unit CFO senior management and other business partners. The team is responsible for forecasting financial results management reporting driving and adding value to strategic initiatives and providing key business metrics.
What you can expect
Financial advisory support for business leaders
Produce transparent actionable analytics and insightful financial metrics to enable informed business decision making
Lead analysis and reporting of actual results in comparison to prior periods and forecasts
Lead development of quarterly forecasts and annual budgets
Collaborate to assess and communicate financial impacts of strategic & growth initiatives
Drive development of financial metrics to measure business unit health and progress towards expense goals
Partner across other enterprise-wide COPM teams for consistency in functional expense reporting and analysis
Lead business specific special projects as needed
Oversight of client invoicing from our outsourced billing team
Given the new nature of PMAs business specific responsibilities for the role will vary over time based on business needs and other factors
What you will bring
7 years of relevant experience required; 10 years preferred
Excellent oral and written skills; ability to communicate business and financial results to all levels of business management
Great attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to thoughtfully analyze assess challenge and influence
Highly motivated and creative problem solver; strategic thinker
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Highly proficient in Microsoft suite of products particularly Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to build and create charts graphs and slides from scratch
Familiarity of and ability to calculate investment management fees across asset classes
Ability to organize / prioritize tasks and work in a deadline-oriented environment
Ability to create and maintain relationships across separate functions / businesses
Previous experience in the investment management / insurance industry preferred
BS degree in Accounting Finance or related field

The salary range for this role is from $160000 to $175000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location candidate experience and skills.
