Job Description

Kiddie Academy CTX has an exciting leadership opportunity for an energetic optimistic and organized early educator to join us as ourTraining & Compliance Supervisor. Your primary responsibility will be implementing and overseeing educational programming for the Academy as well training new and current employees on all Minimum Standards and KA policies/procedures. Youll also assist the Director in other aspects of managing a passionate team of child care professionals who make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families in our community every day. Your schedule will rotate each week from early shift to closing shift depending on the area of training you are in.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish a plan and a consistent schedule to spend time in the classrooms training and supporting the staff. Classroom training and support account for 80% of the Training & Compliance Supervisor role and responsibilities.

    Submit weekly visits licensing and curriculum reports to the Academy Director.

    Assist the leadership team with coverage and answering phones or cover a classroom as needed if staffing dictates support is required.

    Hold staff accountable to make sure daily tasks are completed and completed correctly. Examples: daily reports pictures taken accident/bite reports behavior reports etc.

    Assist with the implementation of awards/recognition programs.

    Ensure you are following and implementing company policies and procedures effectively.

    Maintain a cohesive team amongst the staff within our organizational culture and values.

    Hands-on in-class training for new hires and ongoing/as-needed for current staff.

    Ensure that staff expectations are clear and performance standards are met.

    Ensure that lesson plan activities are implemented into the classroom following the posted academy schedule.

    Be supportive of the staff in the development of skills which will enable them to manage their classroom. Assist in scheduling and conducting curriculum and classroom management training for the staff. Monitor KARES for the latest resources and curriculum updates.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Good verbal and written communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.

    Good computer proficiency (MS Office Word Excel Outlook and Teams)

    Completing 24 clock hours of approved continued training annually

    Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service

    Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given prescribed routines and standard accepted practices.

    High School Diploma/GED required associate degree or bachelors degree preferred.

    Experience in early childhood licensed centers required.

    The ability to lead staff in a positive and encouraging atmosphere is required.

    Meet state minimum requirements for education background check and experience.

    Physical Requirements:

    Ability to perform essential job functions consistently safely and successfully with federal state and local standards including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.

    Ability to maintain regular punctual attendance consistent with federal state and local standards.

    Work at least 45 hours a week for the academys needs willing to work more if needed.

    Must be able to lift no less than 40 pounds to at least waist high consistently throughout the workday.

    Must be able to talk listen and speak clearly on the telephone.

    Must be willing to office remotely and be willing to travel between classrooms as the academy sees fit and be flexible with schedule to fit the academys needs.
