Location: AppleTree Academy
Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule: MondayFriday 7:00 AM 2:00 PM ( hour break daily)

- Plan prepare and cook nutritious meals and snacks for children in accordance with dietary guidelines
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Maintain a clean organized kitchen and food prep area
- Order groceries and pick up food weekly
- Accommodate food allergies and dietary restrictions with care
- Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive work environment
- Valid Food Sanitation Certificate
- Valid drivers license (for weekly food pickups)
- Previous cooking experience ideally in a childcare school or similar setting
- Basic knowledge of child nutrition and balanced meal preparation
- Creativity and flexibility in menu planning
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- A genuine love for children and healthy cooking

Play must be a fundamental component of early childhood care and education. We use a childs discovered interests observed through play to develop age-appropriate classroom curricula. A childs eventual transition to kindergarten and later schooling is best served through child-centered play-based learning combined with a degree of age-appropriate organized didactic structured learning.
