Job Description
A growing commercial real estate company is seeking a motivated and personable Commercial Underwriter to join its team. This role involves managing the full processing of commercial loan documents from initial funding through closing. Once a lead comes intypically a prospective commercial borroweryou will serve as the liaison between the bank and the client ensuring all documentation is accurate and completed efficiently.
Responsibilities Include:
Serve as the main point of contact between the bank and the client
Process commercial loan applications from funding through closing
Ensure all required documentation is complete and accurate
Maintain client communication throughout the underwriting process
Support the team with administrative follow-up and internal documentation
Ideal Qualifications:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
Comfortable managing multiple priorities
Prior experience in underwriting or commercial lending is a plus but not required
Willingness to learn and grow within the field
