Full time (37.5 hours)

Permanent

Hybrid working (Tuesdays & Wednesdays in the Leeds office)

Salary from 24000 per annum plus fantastic Bupa Benefits

As aCredit Control Team Member youll play a vital role in supporting our Care Homes business by ensuring that billing and credit control processes run smoothly. Youll be part of a friendly supportive team that helps keep things on track making sure payments are collected on time and customer queries are handled with care.

This is more than just a numbers role its about making a real difference to peoples lives by helping them navigate the financial side of care with confidence and clarity.

How youll help us make health happen.

In this role youll:

  • Manage a dedicated portfolio of Care Home Sales Ledger accounts

  • Monitor account balances and ensure timely collection of payments

  • Investigate and resolve customer queries through account reconciliation

  • Communicate with customers and internal teams via phone email and letter

  • Support Care Home Administrators with billing system setup and maintenance

  • Approve refund requests in line with policy and procedures

  • Provide guidance on billing matters and undertake invoicing duties

  • Maintain accurate records and add detailed notes to the billing system

  • Work closely with regional teams and finance colleagues to manage debt positions

  • Meet individual and departmental targets

  • Continuously look for ways to improve processes and customer experience

Key Skills/Qualifications required for this role

Were looking for someone whos confident with numbers and even better with people. Youll bring:

  • Previous experience within a Credit Control environment is essential

  • Strong customer service and communication skills written and verbal

  • Good working knowledge of Excel Word and Outlook

  • A proactive organised approach with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines

  • A collaborative mindset you enjoy working with others to solve problems

  • A keen eye for detail and a drive for accuracy

  • Commercial awareness and a customer-first attitude

  • A willingness to learn and grow well support your development every step of the way
