Job Description

Glenlyon Norfolk School (GNS) is an independent day school from JK-12 with a caring and thriving community. As one of a few IB World Continuum schools in Canada offering three International Baccalaureate Programmes GNS is proud of its unique IB Advantage: a 21st-Century education which educates the whole child and creates global thinkers.

Middle/Senior School Choir

Musical Director - Spring Musical

FTE: 1.0FTE

Status/Term: Temporary October 2025 to March 2027

What Youll Bring

You will hold a valid BC teaching certificate (or be eligible to obtain). You will have experience teaching Choir and Theater/Drama; experience conducting concerts and musical productions would also be a strong asset. IB training and MYP experience is preferred but not required. You will have a strong knowledge of inquiry-based and project-based learning approaches possess a passion for innovation and creativity in education and be highly reflective and committed to continuous professional growth and improvement. A strong aptitude in differentiated learning styles and a passion for educating the whole student is expected.
