Whats the role
Youll be the go-to person helping Westpac stay strong steady and ready for anything. Based in Sydney (with interstate interest welcome) this full-time role is all about supporting our business continuity and resilience. Youll run workshops test continuity arrangements and work closely with teams across the Group to make sure were prepared for disruptionsbig or small. With the support of senior leaders youll help embed resilience into our culture and keep things moving when it matters most.
What do I need
Were looking for someone whos curious collaborative and ready to make a real impact. Youll bring:
- Experience in business resilience incident management or operational risk
- Strong knowledge of APRAs Business Continuity Standard requirements and how they apply in a real-world operational context
- Confidence facilitating workshops and engaging with key stakeholders across the bank
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships
- Tertiary qualifications in a business risk or finance-related disciplinethis forms the foundation of your understanding and approach to resilience
Youll be helping to build a more resilient Westpacone thats ready to face the unexpected and keep delivering for our customers. Your work will make a real difference every day.
