Employment Term: Permanent Part Time position available (15 hrs per week with the ability to work extra if required)
Location: Buderim Private Hospital Sunshine Coast
Remuneration: $34.86 phr 11.5% Super Not for Profit Salary Packaging Penalties & Allowances

Your part in Buderim Private Hospital team
The Medical Receptionist will support the overall daily operation of the Private Practice Psychiatrist rooms. You will be responsible for a busy front desk reception liaising with patients and all aspects of office administration that is important to the efficient flow of Sessional/Doctors rooms and connection where necessary with other areas or departments of the hospital. This position can also be required to work in other departments/wards of the hospital as required.
Role responsibilities:
- General reception duties answering phones patient bookings eftpos reconciliation
- Medicare DVA & Private Health Fund billing
- Monitoring and responding to daily emails
- Medical Typing
- Monitoring of supplies ensuring clinical and stationery supplies are adequately stocked.
- Oversee day-to-day operations ensuring efficient service delivery in our fast-paced specialist environment
- Supervising the day-to-day operations of the practice.

- Previous Experience in a similar role within the Healthcare Industry
- Cert III in Business Administration or equivalent desirable
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations policies and procedures
- Proficient in using medical software Gentu Microsoft Office and other relevant IT systems
- Passionate about working with people and an approachable management style
- Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with grace and professionalism.
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Word
- High attention to detail
- Effective time management skills
- Ability to work Autonomously
