Responsibilities
The Administrative Coordinators responsibilities include: Handling complex and confidential situations and requests. Independently coordinating multiple administrative tasks and projects within prescribed guidelines. Assisting in departmental budget planning monitoring expenditures and processing budget documents. Troubleshooting office administration problems and addressing all inquiries and requests related to department. Answering and transferring phone calls screening when necessary. Welcoming and directing visitors and students. Maintaining filing systems as assigned. Retrieving information as requested from records email minutes and other related documents; preparing written summaries of data when needed. Responding to and resolving administrative inquiries and questions. Coordinating and scheduling travel meetings and appointments for the school director faculty and invited guests. Preparing agenda and schedules for meetings. Recording and distributing minutes or other records for meetings. Maintaining office supplies and coordinating maintenance of office equipment. Maintaining a system for recording expenses. Performing other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Associates degree preferred plus at least 2-3 year of relevant administrative experience or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired. Excellent interpersonal communication skills with ability to interact with a diverse group of co-workers staff and students. Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask. Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing. Ability to work independently.
