Job Description
Job Summary for Mid-Level Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer
- Develop and configure Guidewire PolicyCenter components (product model rating engine APIs UI batch processes integrations).
- Implement enhancements resolve configuration issues and participate in Agile sprint planning and demos.
- Collaborate with business analysts QA teams and consulting partners to deliver quality solutions.
- Write clean maintainable code and participate in code reviews to uphold development standards.
- Support production Guidewire applications including on-call responsibilities.
- Utilize Splunk and DataDog for troubleshooting and performance improvement.
- Research and implement new cloud capabilities perform system upgrades.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment fostering growth for self and team members.
- Apply knowledge of GOSU Java/J2EE REST APIs XML SQL and object-oriented programming.
- Use Git and CI/CD pipelines for code management and deployment.
- Continuously pursue learning opportunities and Guidewire certifications.
- Preference for candidates with Property & Casualty insurance domain experience.
- Remote role but must be within commuting distance of Columbus OH.
