As a Team Member you will be key in delivering exceptional customer service by providing a friendly and efficient dining experience. Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation: Prepare and assemble menu items according to restaurant standards and customer preferences.
Customer Service: Greet customers warmly as they approach the serving line provide menu recommendations and assist with any inquiries or special requests.
Order Accuracy: Ensure orders are accurately taken and entered into the system paying attention to specific dietary needs or modifications.
Efficient Service: Work quickly and efficiently to maintain a smooth flow of service during peak hours minimizing wait times for customers.
Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep the serving area clean and organized at all times including replenishing utensils napkins and condiments as needed.
Cash Handling: Process customer payments accurately using cash registers or POS systems and issue receipts as necessary.
Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
Adherence to Health and Safety Standards: Follow proper food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe and hygienic work environment.
Upselling and Promotion: Promote additional menu items or specials to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
Customer Satisfaction: Monitor customer feedback and address any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally striving to exceed guest expectations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferably in the food service industry or fast casual dining environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating order totals.
- Knowledge of Middle Eastern cuisine and ingredients is a plus.
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays.
