Job Description
At HiSERV Belgium you will find yourself in a strong and exciting working environment especially at Zaventem airport where you will come into contact with challenging technical equipment and have the opportunity to learn a lot. You will be part of a leading SME - a family business which thanks to its expertise has grown into an SME with several branches and industries (garage airport equipment and bodywork). As a technician you will join the branch specialising in the maintenance and repair of airport machines as well as their rental and sale.
Function
As an electrical engineer you will be responsible for detecting and solving electronic breakdowns in motorised rolling stock. The focus of your tasks will be on electronic maintenance and repairs but you may also be called upon for general maintenance/repairs if necessary.
Your Duties
- You work on the electrical components in the GSE machines
- You disassemble and assemble parts according to machine instructions documentation etc.
- Localising a fault in the installation and determining technical solutions
- Checking the operation of electronic systems
- You identify the components of defective systems repair or replace these components
- Connecting a diagnostic computer to the equipment to detect malfunctions based on recorded programmes
Profile
- You have at least a secondary degree in electrical engineering/electromechanics or similar
- If you have experience in rolling stock that is a plus
- You can handle measuring instruments and read electrical plans
- You work and think in a solution-oriented way
- You have knowledge of PLC
- You can work independently as well as in a group
- You are flexible eager to learn and motivated and also have a strong sense of responsibility
- You are safety and quality conscious
- You have a driving licence (B) to carry out occasional depannages on the tarmac of the airport
