Job Description and nbsp;
The and nbsp;Senior Middleware Specialist and nbsp;is responsible for the design implementation support and optimization of middleware solutions that enable seamless integration between enterprise systems applications and external partners. This role requires deep technical expertise in middleware platforms such as and nbsp;IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) and nbsp;WebSphere and nbsp;MuleSoft or and nbsp;similar ESBs and a strong understanding of integration patterns scalability and system reliability. and nbsp;
Working in collaboration with solution architects developers infrastructure and operations teams the specialist will ensure middleware platforms are secure stable and aligned with business and technical requirements. and nbsp;

Key Responsibilities and nbsp;
- Design build and configure middleware integration solutions across multiple platforms and environments and nbsp;
- Install upgrade and maintain middleware platforms (e.g. IBM ACE WebSphere MuleSoft) to ensure optimal performance and availability and nbsp;
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot integration issues perform root cause analysis and implement solutions and nbsp;
- Ensure middleware services meet enterprise standards for security resiliency and compliance and nbsp;
- Develop and maintain technical documentation including topology diagrams configuration settings and operational procedures and nbsp;
- Monitor system performance logs and metrics to proactively identify and resolve issues and nbsp;
- Implement and manage automated deployment failover and backup strategies for middleware services and nbsp;
- Support integration with enterprise systems such as and nbsp;SharePoint and nbsp;Microsoft Dynamics CRM and nbsp;Siebel and and nbsp;Curam and nbsp;
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior integration and operations staff and nbsp;
Skills
Experience and Skill Set Requirements
1. Core Skills and Experience 40 and nbsp;
- Minimum 7 years of experience in middleware/integration technologies in complex enterprise environments and nbsp;
- Proven experience designing implementing and supporting integration solutions using middleware platforms and nbsp;
- Deep understanding of system integration patterns (synchronous/asynchronous REST SOAP event-driven messaging) and nbsp;
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience troubleshooting across multiple systems and layers (application middleware infrastructure) and nbsp;
- Experience supporting mission-critical systems with high availability and performance requirements and nbsp;

2. Technical Skills and Experience 30 and nbsp;
- Expertise in middleware platforms such as IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) IBM WebSphere MuleSoft Azure Integration Services or similar ESBs and nbsp;
- Experience with API Gateway and Management platforms (e.g. IBM API Connect Azure APIM) and nbsp;
- Proficiency in working with messaging and event platforms (e.g. MQ Kafka JMS Event Grid) and nbsp;
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure AWS or GCP) and hybrid integration scenarios and nbsp;
- Knowledge of security protocols and integration (OAuth2.0 SAML mutual TLS API keys) and nbsp;
- Experience integrating with enterprise platforms such as SharePoint Microsoft Dynamics CRM Siebel Curam or other COTS solutions and nbsp;
- Hands-on experience with scripting and automation (e.g. Shell Python Ansible Terraform) for middleware deployment and operations and nbsp;
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in integration environments and nbsp;

3. Communication and Documentation Skills 20 and nbsp;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders and nbsp;
- Experience developing clear accurate and comprehensive technical documentation and nbsp;
- Ability to translate business integration needs into technical requirements and solution designs and nbsp;
- Strong collaboration skills with a track record of working in cross-functional teams and leading technical discussions and nbsp;
