We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automation Technician with hands-on experience in the maintenance repair and operation of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring analyzing and troubleshooting automatic control circuits ensuring uninterrupted performance of automated systems in industrial environments.
Operate maintain and troubleshoot PLC-based automation systems.
Analyze control circuits detect malfunctions and implement corrective actions.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on automation equipment and control systems.
Assist in the installation and configuration of sensors actuators and other control devices.
Interpret electrical and control schematics for troubleshooting and modifications.
Monitor system performance and recommend upgrades to improve reliability and efficiency.
Document all maintenance and repair work for compliance and traceability.
Collaborate with electrical instrumentation and mechanical teams for coordinated support.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and operational procedures.
Technical Diploma in Electrical Engineering Instrumentation Automation Technology or a related field.
Certifications in PLC programming or industrial automation are an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of PLC systems (Siemens Allen-Bradley Schneider or similar).
Familiarity with HMI/SCADA systems and industrial control protocols.
Expertise in automatic control circuits and troubleshooting.
Ability to read technical drawings wiring diagrams and P&IDs.
Hands-on experience with field devices such as sensors relays and actuators.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
