Job Title: Bodyshop Paint Prepper
Location: Aston Birmingham B6 7AR
Salary: 16.00 per hour overtime monthly team bonus
Full Time and Permanent 39 hours per week
Monday to Thursday 8.30am-5.00pm
Friday 8.30am-4.00pm
Our client is an independent family run vehicle accident repair centre. They work alongside the UK s leading manufacturers insurers local business fleets and private vehicle owners.
They are now looking for an experienced Paint Prepper for their Accident Repair Bodyshop in Aston Birmingham.
About the Role:
This role involves ensuring that all vehicle surfaces are properly prepped primed and polished to perfection. You will work closely with the Vehicle Paint Technicians and other members of the Bodyshop team to deliver high-quality results on every project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing vehicles for paintwork (sanding masking)
- Ensuring all surfaces are clean and ready for painting
- Apply filler and perform related tasks to create a perfect surface for painting
- Polishing and buffing
- Maintaining a clean safe and organized workspace
What Were Looking For:
- Previous experience as a vehicle prepper or in a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and a good eye for quality finishes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good time management and organisational skills
- A full UK driving licence (preferred)
