Job Description
- Understand adhere and demonstrate to the companys commitment to QUALITY and SAFETY.
- Lead the department to ensure Safety quality productivity team member accountability.
- Ensure appropriate use or damaged equipment for corrective action as needed.
- Review shop travelers to determine required paint types and parameters.
- Ensure all paint maintenance equipment and materials are maintained in good working condition.
- Document nonconforming spray gun and related equipment.
- Ensure paint inventory accuracy and collaborate with purchasing for inventory cycle counts.
- Train and support paint mixers as required.
- Maintain knowledge of quality assurance procedure requirements.
- Review priority board shift hand-off and develop plan for shift.
- Conduct Stand-up with responsible departments.
- Develop and turn in Projections to Planning and Supervisor.
- Set-up Priority Boards and complete shift hand-off.
- Ensure inventory is staged and matches priority boards.
- Conduct Shift Hand-off with incoming/departing Shift.
- Lead the department to ensure quality productivity discipline and safety.
- Ensure documentation of nonconforming jobs.
- Ensure all processing paperwork is completed and routed correctly.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance according to shift-times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Experience in Aerospace metal processing highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead.
- Ability to lift a maximum of 40 pounds.
- Computer literate.
- 3 years related experience.
