Job Description
Job Title: Civil Engineer
Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to plan design supervise and execute construction and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical foundation in civil engineering principles project execution site management and compliance with relevant codes and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and oversee construction projects from design to completion.
Prepare engineering calculations technical drawings and cost estimates.
Conduct site surveys feasibility studies and risk assessments.
Monitor on-site construction activities ensuring work aligns with project specifications and quality standards.
Manage contractors subcontractors and laborers at the site.
Coordinate with architects consultants and stakeholders to ensure timely project execution.
Ensure adherence to safety regulations environmental standards and local building codes.
Conduct quality checks material inspections and testing procedures.
Maintain project documentation including reports daily logs and compliance records.
Resolve on-site technical challenges and provide practical solutions.
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E. / ).
M.E. / in Civil / Structural Engineering (preferred for senior roles).
Licensed/Certified Civil Engineer (if applicable in region).
Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of construction methodologies structural design and project execution.
Proficiency in AutoCAD MS Project or similar civil engineering software.
Ability to interpret technical drawings blueprints and specifications.
Excellent problem-solving analytical and decision-making abilities.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Effective verbal and written communication.
Familiarity with safety labor and environmental regulations.
