Were seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to support the deployment and operation of a client #Telecom and #SystemMonitoring solution. This is a customer-facing role involving cross-functional collaboration with Tier 2/3 support R&D and project teams.
Responsibilities
- Oversee validation testing and technical analysis of the deployed solution
- Provide operational support and troubleshooting in #CustomerEnvironments
- Execute end-to-end test plans and solution acceptance
- Collaborate on issue resolution across internal support tiers
- Prepare documentation for deployment and integration
- Lead technical conversations and drive problem resolution
Core Skills
- Expertise with #LinuxOS and shell scripting (#Bash #CSH #KSH #SH)
- Hands-on experience with #OpenStack #HeatTemplates and #AzureAKS
- Proficient in #Python #Docker #Ansible #Kubernetes and #Microservices
- Understanding of #SIP #IPTelephony #Wireshark and #TelecomProtocols
- Solid grasp of #TCPIP #UDP #SIP #SSH #RTP #DNS #Syslog and related protocols
Bonus Skills
- Familiarity with #5GCallFlows and #5GCSBI
- Exposure to #Kafka #ElasticSearch #Spark #MariaDB
- Understanding of #WSO2 #LDAP and SSO technologies
Must-Haves
- 5 years in a client-facing technical role
- Strong troubleshooting collaboration and documentation skills
- Experience in #Agile / #Scrum environments
- Excellent communication and the ability to lead technical discussions
- Willingness to be onsite full-time in Atlanta with rare travel as needed
