Electrical Design Engineer

Here is what you will do:

• Electrical Installations Design: Contribute to the design and planning of electrical systems for a variety of projects including buildings water treatment stations oil & gas and other industrial facilities.
• Electrical Calculations: Perform essential electrical calculations for systems such as lighting power distribution and emergency power systems under supervision.
• 3D BIM Modeling: Assist in creating 3D BIM models using Revit ensuring all designs meet required standards.
• Technical Input: Provide technical input on studies and design tasks related to electrical engineering
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Participate in team reviews and contribute to the integration of various engineering disciplines into comprehensive project designs.
• Quality Assurance: Support the review and quality control of electrical design documents drawings and calculations.
• Technical Specifications: Preparing technical specification for electrical systems elements.
• Project Support: Help in developing project schedules and budgets ensuring adherence to timelines and cost estimates.
• Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.

Qualifications :

Heres what were looking for:

• Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical design preferably for industrial projects for international clients
• Familiarity with engineering modeling/drafting software.
• Proficiency in English both written and verbal.

Preferred:

• Experience with Revit MEP and/or AutoCAD 3D
• Understanding of Common Data Environment platforms (e.g. BIM 360 ACC).
• Exposure to clash detection software.
• Basic knowledge of BIM coordination processes.
