Job Description:
As a Logistics Analyst at First Care Medical you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our supply chain. You will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing our logistics processes to minimize costs improve efficiency and meet customer demands. Your attention to detail and strong analytical skills will be essential in identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance our logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and monitor supply chain processes including transportation warehousing and inventory management to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics operations such as route planning inventory management and carrier selection
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including purchasing sales and customer service to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators such as on-time delivery inventory levels and transportation costs
- Identify and resolve logistics issues such as delays damages and shortages in a timely and efficient manner
- Conduct regular audits of inventory levels and reconcile any discrepancies
- Maintain relationships with carriers and negotiate contracts to ensure competitive pricing and service levels
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in logistics to continuously improve processes and procedures
- Utilize data and analytics to make data-driven decisions and recommendations for process improvements
- Train and mentor logistics team members to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in supply chain management logistics or a related field
- 2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management preferably in the healthcare industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and best practices
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and processes
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency
