The ServiceNow Developer is responsible for developing implementing and administering ServiceNow applications.
What You Will Do:
Develop configure and enhance ServiceNow applications ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices.
Stay current with ServiceNow products features and industry trends to drive innovation.
Conduct technical assessments and provide recommendations for improving existing ServiceNow implementations.
Perform unit system and integration testing.
Debug and fix technical problems.
Support the development of detailed technical documentation.
Provide demonstrations of developed applications to product owners and end users.
Participate in platform upgrade activities including regression testing and reconfiguration.
Ensure the security scalability and maintainability of ServiceNow solutions.
What You Will Need:
Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD SECRET security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
Minimum Years of Experience: 3 years of ServiceNow experience supported by ServiceNow certifications (e.g. CSA CIS CAD).
Minimum Degree Required: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Business or related field.
Experience in ServiceNow Modules such as GRC SPM and ITSM as well as with App Engine and Scoped Apps.
Experience with scripting (JavaScript Glide AngularJS) Flow Designer and IntegrationHub.
Experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies deliverables and controls.
Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and establish rapport with a diverse array of people at all levels.
Heightened attention to detail when developing technical solutions.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Experience working in an Agile environment.
Experience with ServiceNow automated testing framework (ATF).
Ability to commute to client or corporate offices within the Washington DC metropolitan area 2-3 days per week.
Experience with web services integration specifically Mid-Server SOAP and REST preferred.
Agile SCRUM or SAFe certifications.
General understanding of financial management aspects (i.e. financial operations financial innovation internal control risk management etc.) particularly in a federal environment.
Candidates with an ACTIVE SECRET or higher-level clearance are preferred.
