The Sr. Analyst will be a key member of the Varsity Spirits Analytics & Insights team formed to build strategic solutions and organizational capabilities through reporting analytics and customer insights. Will work closely with business partners to identify needs and develop plans that determine a direction to actualize goals. Relying on data this role will provide relevant insights that will help the business make better decisions address key challenges & concerns and uncover new opportunities for growth.
A Sr. Analyst will represent Varsity Brands by demonstration of company core values in driving the highest ethical standards of conduct in all business activities.
Job Responsibilities
Identify critical business needs and create relevant data-driven solutions and models driving the project from design to execution
Provide strong financial and strategic decision support to partners and stakeholders in areas such as pricing sales forecasting goal setting and territory planning
Maintain ownership of key operational reports for stakeholders across the organization
Develop tools and partner with sales leaders on annual rep territory planning
Work collaboratively with BI analysts to advance companys PBI reporting platform
Collaborate across departments to support other critical organizational projects
Knowledge Skills Abilities
Advanced with Excel; Proficient with Word PowerPoint and Power BI / Tableau
Advanced problem solving and analytical skills
Demonstrated knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools
Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills
Significant attention to detail and strict appreciation for deadlines
Excellent time management and demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize
Experience performing various forms of online research
Education Certification and Experience
3-5 Years of advanced analytical experience required; preferably in areas such as finance consulting analytics
Bachelors Degree in business economics marketing computer science or related field required
Supervisory Responsibility
No formal supervisory responsibility. Help oversee and collaborate with other analysts on the team.

This job operates in a professional office environment. Largely a sedentary role with some filing requiring the ability to lift files open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool as necessary.
