Job Summary:
Were excited to announce a newly created opportunity for a Senior Data Analyst to join our HUB24 Group Data Analytics team.Responsibilities:
Data Analytics Engineering
Identify Business needs where data analytics can assist in the solution to the problem or need.
Design and develop analytics solution that is mature reliable and scalable.
Deliver insights which are objective and actionable for the business
Where required utilise advanced techniques to analyse and model data to develop more mature solutions to drive meaningful step change in the way the business operates to lift business maturity
Collaboration with DS&A Team
Be a key contact point between broad DS&A team and the business taking in demand help prioritise programs and ad-hoc requests to make sure it is in line with strategic outcomes
Develop end-to-end program waypoints in collaboration with all other sub-teams such as Data development Data visualisation team.
Ensure programs are accountable for other teams resourcing technical and scheduling requirements and communicate this back to relevant stakeholders
Strategic Business Partnering
Identify and meet with key business stakeholders to understand needs and priorities
Identify data assets which may be off assistance to the business and where necessary develop data assets to provide commercial advice to support key client opportunities.
Identify and support key initiatives through detailed analysis and insight to improve decision making and execution.
Build rapport with key stake holders to be considered a trusted partner and a member of key decision-making team for the business/leadership team.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Data Science Mathematics or a related field with strong knowledge of advanced statistical techniques
Background in Financial Services and/or Data Analytics Consulting
Proficient in SQL and Python with hands-on experience using Power BI
Demonstrated experience leading medium to large-scale strategic programs and transformation projects.
Proven ability in analytical thinking solution design and critical problem-solving
Practical experience applying advanced statistical modelling to deliver measurable business outcomes
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Delivers high-quality work with a strong commercial focus combining attention to detail with a continuous improvement mindset.
Agile and adaptable able to solve problems independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable but not mandatory:
Experience in Data Bricks and DBT highly regarded
Customer Marketing Operations and Process Optimisation experience using data analytics.
