Job Description
Currently seeking a Special Education School Age Science Teacher for our AHRC Middle/HS in Dyker Heights.

Position Requirements:
- BA or MA and New York State Certification in Biology Earth Science or Chemistry etc. required; experience in autism preferred. Salaries based off of education attainments.

Role Description:
- Full Time Monday-Friday
- Hours: 8:00 A.M-3:00 P.M
- 10 month calendar with a 30 day summer session
- Develop and implement individualized person-centered teaching plans.
- Provide general education Regents curriculum instruction in a special education high school.
- Prepares daily lesson plans in advance and on an individual basis geared towards the program participants learning style and level of academic functioning.
- Collaborate with other instructors when necessary.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $79760 - $81411 per year
- Providing program participants the opportunity for academic enrichment through the improvement of Science.
Qualifications :
- BA or MA is Education/Special Education
- NYS Certification in Science is required; Generalist Certification I Grade 7-12 is a plus. Salaries commensurate upon education attainments.
