We are seeking a skilled Biomedical Science Histologist to join our esteemed client in Milton Keynes. This role involves performing specialist histology procedures including tissue sample preparation staining and microscopic analysis to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. The successful candidate will work closely with pathologists and multidisciplinary teams ensuring high-quality laboratory standards and adherence to clinical guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
The role requires expertise in histopathology including tissue processing embedding microtomy and immunohistochemistry. The histologist will be responsible for analyzing tissue samples assisting in diagnostic procedures and providing technical advice to clinicians. Additionally maintaining accurate laboratory records collaborating with healthcare professionals and ensuring compliance with UKAS accreditation standards are essential aspects of the role.
