As a part of our global Business Transformation Delivery and Execution team you will be managing international projects leading workstreams gathering and analyzing information and developing actionable recommendations to ensure successful delivery. You will be involved in working on challenging assignments assisting our clients trough they transformation and organization change journeys. You will also be part of team creating industry leading solutions in widely understood project management services.

Your key responsibilities

• You will support our clients in the business and organizational transformation journey actively becoming a trusted advisor in project management matters for both clients and EY colleagues.
• You will provide consultation and recommendations based on clients requirement and develop relationships with team members across all EY practices to serve client needs.
• You will work with various teams to ensure that clients requirement budget and milestones for projects are met.
• You will be advising our clients within the context of transformation projects in banking sector. This involves a business-oriented and holistic perspective with innovative approaches.

Responsibilities include:

• Conduct project management activities for banks insurance companies and other financial institutions on optimizing and restructuring processes digital solutions and transformation processes.
• Collaborating with colleagues from various departments within the global EY network taking responsibility for project progress and providing professional leadership to team members.
• Communicating with clients and managing clients expectations;
• Generating new business potentials ideas for products services and processes through customer-centric prototyping and creating product visions in finance sector.
• Utilizing a range of methods from project management to Design Thinking and Lean Startup.

• Good planning and organizing ability to see the big picture as well as focused on details and errorless delivery.
• Excellent professional communication skills ability to approach senior stakeholders using appropriate level of details terminology and fit-to-purpose communication.
• Ability to work in a continuously changing environment proactive with can-do-attitude looking for solutions and opportunities.
• Strong project management skills including agile methods.

To qualify for the role you must have

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field with emphasis on banking.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Project Management especially in financial institute-related projects.
• Proven experience in participating finance processes within financial institution environment ensuring compliance with banking regulatory standards.
• Analytical mindset allowing you to deeply understand topics and implement successful transformation strategies.
• Strong team and customer orientation willingness to learn high engagement in responsible tasks and a holistic view of the overall picture.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Ideally youll also have

• Financial project management experience. Certifications such as PMP Agile PM or Prince2 are a plus.
• Good understanding of banking products e.g. loans cash management factoring etc.
• Further European language (preferable German and/or French).
• Proficiency if applicable in project tools like Teams Jira Trello GitHub Miro Slack ServiceNow Triskell etc.
• Prior experience in project management in direct collaboration with executive committees.
