About the team and the role:

Would you like to work in a dynamic and international company Are you highly motivated and want to contribute to the success of our team Then you are the right person to join our Affiliate / CSS Partnerships team in London-Richmond Berlin-Dreilinden or Milan as our CSS Partner Manager to play a pivotal role in the expansion of our hybrid Affiliate Marketing and Paid Search efforts.


In this role you will help build optimize and drive global strategic development across the Product Listings Ads (PLA) / Google Shopping Ads and support the business needs and priorities across key regions and markets. You will form hypotheses structuring and coordinating analysis and articulating strategic options and plans for our global PLA CSS partners. You will work with various internal collaborators as well as product teams partner success managers and other key partners across the organization to help translate their business needs into creative strategies to solve these business needs. On top of that you will drive industry and market research to identify unmet PLA market trends and support proactive formulation of strategies in response to these developments. Additionally youll help identify and onboard new global partners.

What you will accomplish:

  • Take on PLA strategic challenges and build frameworks and models to support grounded recommendations.

  • Run and conduct analysis of partner capabilities and proactively find opportunities for future optimization.

  • Market intelligence: monitor the newest developments in the PLA space and keeping up with the ever evolving offerings of the portfolio. Conduct detailed market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends emerging opportunities and new methodologies.

  • Provide broad expertise in PLA offerings and propositions across markets for the CSS partnerships team product teams and other internal partners.

  • Leading and assisting key partner relationships to ensure eBay shows up as it should across partner properties to the right audience across our priority verticals and categories.

  • Working in-sync with our internal Shopping Ads team to ensure alignment across key initiatives.

  • Working with the wider analytics and product team on wider subprojects to continue to develop our CSS partnerships.

  • Monitor and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates cost per acquisition (CPA) and return on ad spend (ROAS).

What you will bring:

  • Experience in the Google Shopping Ads landscape and in-depth knowledge of Affiliate Marketing.

  • Detailed understanding of Performance Marketing and promotional methods such as CPC CPA etc.

  • Strong existing partner relationships within the digital and performance marketing industry and experience in building relationships to drive business growth.

  • Have the ability to multitask and implement plans; detail oriented and can hit daring goals in a fast-pace environment.

  • Excellent communication skills capable of conveying technical data insights to non-technical audiences effectively through reports and visualizations using tools such as Excel.

  • Availability for regular travel throughout Europe and the U.S.

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in Business Marketing or a related field from an accredited college or university.
