What are we looking for
Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit a Healthcare Assistant to join our Theatres team with a competitive salary range on offer up to 32960
This is a full-time role with the following shift patterns:
Monday-Saturday 0730-1730
The Theatre HCA will undertake clinical and non-clinical duties in the Operating Theatre including working alongside the established Theatre teams providing support to the current Registered Theatre Practitioners to provide safe high-quality care to all our patients

We have eight state-of-the-art theatres covering our Surgical Institutes including a hybrid theatre robotic theatre and Intraoperative MRI facilities. We cover many specialities including Cardiovascular Thoracic Neuro Spinal Orthopaedic Plastics General Surgery Urology and Gynaecology.
What will your duties include
To provide holistic and person-centred care and support for people of all ages and in a variety of settings
Delivering high-quality service and care for the patient treating patients in a courteous manner and respecting their dignity and confidentiality at all times
Prepare the appropriate equipment prior to the start of a list which may include wheel chairs and trolleys undertaking the appropriate checks to ensure the equipment is clean and used safely.
To act as a member of the circulating team assisting in preparing and circulating roles providing complex patient care intraoperatively. This will include surgical counts specimen/blood handling and documentation following competency sign off.
Liaise with Concierge GPS Security and similar service support teams to provide a seamless experience
Sterile Instrument Duties quality control checks counting and documentation
What we need from you
Suitable communication skills required
Willingness to perform personal care tasks required
Extensive experience working in a multi-speciality operating theatre environment required
A track record over one or more substantial roles in a customer-facing role requiring high-touch quality customer service preferred
