About You:

  • Passion for the industry
  • Relevant experience in a Reservations and/or Group Reservations similar role
  • Full working rights in Australia(no sponsorship available)
  • Enthusiastic to escalate your career
  • Self-motivated driven and energized in a fast-paced environment
  • Armed with smart solutions and a can-do attitude

About the job:

  • Process and respond to all group reservation requests changes and cancellations via phone email or fax
  • Identify guest needs recommend appropriate room types and explain rates guarantees and policies
  • Handle special requests and provide detailed information about hotel services and facilities
  • Maximize revenue using effective sales techniques and by ensuring data accuracy in the reservation system
  • Availability for ad hoc site inspections and other duties requires you to be full time on premises
  • Resolve guest issues or escalate when needed documenting concerns as required
  • Support training scheduling and coaching of team members while serving as a role model
  • Maintain a professional appearance protect company assets and uphold Marriott policies and service standards
  • Build strong relationships with guests and colleagues through clear communication and genuine service
  • Occasionally support operations at other Marriott properties as needed
