About You:
- Passion for the industry
- Relevant experience in a Reservations and/or Group Reservations similar role
- Full working rights in Australia(no sponsorship available)
- Enthusiastic to escalate your career
- Self-motivated driven and energized in a fast-paced environment
- Armed with smart solutions and a can-do attitude
About the job:
- Process and respond to all group reservation requests changes and cancellations via phone email or fax
- Identify guest needs recommend appropriate room types and explain rates guarantees and policies
- Handle special requests and provide detailed information about hotel services and facilities
- Maximize revenue using effective sales techniques and by ensuring data accuracy in the reservation system
- Availability for ad hoc site inspections and other duties requires you to be full time on premises
- Resolve guest issues or escalate when needed documenting concerns as required
- Support training scheduling and coaching of team members while serving as a role model
- Maintain a professional appearance protect company assets and uphold Marriott policies and service standards
- Build strong relationships with guests and colleagues through clear communication and genuine service
- Occasionally support operations at other Marriott properties as needed
