HVAC company in Greenville SC is in the market for a Sheet Metal Worker Duct Technician
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour (Depends on Experience)
Expected hours: 35 45 per week (Monday Friday); Rotating Weekends
MUST be able to pass a DT and Background CHECK
3 Years Experience Preferred
**Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled metal worker to join our team as a Duct Technician. As a Duct Tech you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and equipment.
**Duties:**
- Cut bend and shape sheet metal to the required dimensions.
- Measure cut and weld pieces together according to specifications blueprints or directions.
- Connect pieces or secure seams by riveting rolling soldering or using steel screws.
- Inspect and test welded structures to discover flaws
- Monitor machinery for proper functionality
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations
**Skills:**
- Proficiency in welding techniques such as MIG TIG and arc welding
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- Experience with metal fabrication tools and equipment
- Attention to detail and precision in work
- Physical strength and stamina for manual labor
